As proud parents of a serving soldier and living locally we went to Wootton Bassett on Mothering Sunday to show our appreciation to the Bikers of Great Britain in their support of our troops serving in Afghanistan. At the last count over £102,000 had been raised for the charity Afghan Heros.
We like to step out of the studio every now and again and photograph something outside our comfort zone; this philosophy happened to coincide with our annual pilgramage to the RIAT held at RAF Fairford. For some reason known only to himself, John decided that for a change we were going to go on the [...]
We recently attended a portrait lighting course with Chris Burfoot at The Flash Centre and enjoyed it so much we decided to book the Nude Art course too. The course concentrated on looking at the tones and definitions of the body using different lighting techniques. So as not to upset people with full nudity I [...]

However, determined to make the most of the conditions we did venture out to Stanton Park near Stanton Fitzwarren on a number of occasions during the Christmas break and below are a selection of images [...]
I don’t usually make resolutions at New Year but this year I have decided that there is one thing that I am really bad on and need to improve – and that is sorting and processing my photographs. I am the sort that loves taking pictures but rarely do I do anything with them once [...]
