We like to step out of the studio every now and again and photograph something outside our comfort zone; this philosophy happened to coincide with our annual pilgramage to the RIAT held at RAF Fairford.

For some reason known only to himself, John decided that for a change  we were going to go on the Sunday this year – unfortunately he forgot to book the weather!!

Rain was an understatement, there were several times in the day where it just lashed it down and it was all we could do to hang on to the brollies and sit huddled in our chairs – we did manage to keep the cameras dry though
